SMOK presents you this new Nord 5 kit, which stands out for its numerous colors and elegant design. It also offers you a leather version that provides an excellent grip. The leather version (106 x 32.5 x 24.8 mm) is slightly larger than the classic version (105 x 32.5 x 23.74 mm).
The battery is undoubtedly the great quality of this pod. With a capacity of 2000mAh, it allows for several days of vaping without worrying about recharging. For such a compact pod, this is unprecedented. To recharge it, simply plug in the provided USB Type-C cable. Of course, with such a significant capacity, the recharge doesn't happen in the blink of an eye. It takes on average 1 hour and 40 minutes for the classic version and a few minutes less for the leather version of the Nord 5. That's the only difference between the two versions.
The Nord 5 kit allows you to deliver a power that can be customized from 5W up to 80W. You can adjust the power using the two selection buttons and the 0.69-inch OLED screen that displays all the essential information for a controlled vape. The Nord 5 kit is specialized in DL draws with a powerful and thick vape. It features two air inlets to effectively cool and thicken the vapor it produces. For a tighter and more flavorful draw, the airflow is adjustable via a sliding button on the back of the pod.
On the upper part is the Nord 5 cartridge, which is also out of the ordinary with a gigantic capacity of 5ml. This cartridge is wide enough so that you don't have to refill it all the time. The filling is done from the side after unclipping the anti-leak tab. It works with the RPM3 coils from SMOK, which are Sub Ohm and specialized for DL vaping:
- A 0.15 ohm resistance is pre-installed in the Nord 5 cartridge which will produce gigantic clouds.
- "Another 0.23 ohm coil is provided with the kit and will bring out the flavors of the e-liquids a bit more."
