EBay banks electronic cigarettes

This is a blow for many small resellers and craftsmen of the vape: to date from June 9, the e-commerce site Ebay will banish the electronic cigarette and all its derivatives. A witch hunt in the name of politically correct.

EBay no longer wants a vape

It is an update of the Ebay regulation which leaves no room for interpretation: the sale of electronic cigarettes and their accessories as well as objects containing tobacco is prohibited on eBay.

The site specifies that this particular point will come into force from June 9, 2021.

What is these regulations?

The following or similar products are not authorized (this list is not exhaustive):

• Any product containing tobacco, for example cigarettes, cigars and bulk tobacco leaves.
• Cigar tubes or capes
• Nicotine or nasal sprays (consult the medication and parapharmacy regulations)
• Plant cigarettes (sometimes called nicotine or tobacco cigarettes)
• Domain names or websites explaining how to get tobacco
• Electronic cigarettes, electronic chichas and accessories such as atomizers, liquids (with or nicotine -free) and aromas (in force from June 9, 2021)

Prohibited practices:

Include photos of cigarettes, cigars or other tobacco products in ads to sell cigar rings, collection packaging or any other accessory

Activities not in accordance with ebay regulations are likely to cause sanctions, in particular: the abolition or cancellation of ads, masking or reducing the visibility of all ads in research results, lowering Seller's assessments, restrictions on purchase or sale privileges and account suspension. The costs paid or to be paid for announcements or accounts subject to sanctions will not be reimbursed or credited to your account.
