SMOK presents you this new Nord 5 kit which stands out for its many colors and its elegant design. There is also a leather version that gives you an excellent grip. The leather version (106 x 32.5 x 24.8 mm) is a bit larger than the classic version (105 x 32.5 x 23.74 mm).
The battery is undoubtedly the great quality of this pod. With an autonomy of 2000mAh, it allows you to vape for several days without worrying about recharging. For such a compact pod, this is unheard of. To recharge it, simply plug in the USB Type-C cable provided in the kit. Obviously, with such a substantial autonomy, recharging is not done in a snap. It lasts on average 1h40 for the classic version and a few minutes less for the leather version of the Nord 5. This is the only difference between the two versions.
The Nord 5 kit delivers customizable power from 5W up to 80W. You can adjust the power using the two selection buttons and the 0.69 inch OLED screen which displays all the essential information for a controlled vape. The Nord 5 kit specializes in DL draw with a powerful and thick vape. It has two air inlets to effectively cool and thicken the vapor it produces. For a tighter and stronger draw, the airflow is adjustable thanks to a sliding button on the back of the pod.
On the upper part is the Nord 5 cartridge which is also exceptional with a gigantic capacity of 5ml. This cartridge is wide enough not to have to refill it all the time. Filling is done on the side after unclipping the anti-leak tab. It works with SMOK's RPM3 resistors which are Sub Ohms and specialized in DL pulling:
- A 0.15 ohm resistor is pre-installed in the Nord 5 cartridge which will produce gigantic clouds.
- Another resistance in 0.23 ohm is supplied with the kit and will bring out the flavors of the e-liquids a little more.
Thanks to its design, its autonomy and its power, this new SMOK Nord 5 pod kit has already established itself as the reference for this type of electronic cigarette.
